Delete your data
Tiny Finds has no accounts, so nothing you do in the game is tied to your name or email. This page explains how to have the data the game has sent deleted, what we delete, and what stays.
How to ask
- In the game, open Settings > Your data and tap Delete my data.
- Your email app opens a message to us, already written. It names the IDs your gameplay statistics were sent under, which is how we find them. Send it as it is.
- We delete the data and reply within 30 days.
If you no longer have the game, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". The statistics carry no name or email, so without the IDs we can't tell which are yours (installing the game again gives it new IDs). We will still delete our emails with you, and the statistics expire on their own, as listed below.
What we delete
- Gameplay statistics sent under those IDs, at Google Analytics for Firebase and at GameAnalytics: levels, scores, hints, coins and gems, ads watched, purchases, and the device and app details sent with them. Google removes them from its reports within 72 hours and from its servers within two months. GameAnalytics deletes them when we pass on your request.
- Our other emails with you, if you ask.
What stays, and for how long
- Gameplay statistics we can't match to you, when a request comes without the IDs: kept for up to 14 months at Firebase, and at GameAnalytics under its own policy.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are not filed under those IDs. They are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Server time request logs are deleted by Google Cloud after 30 days.
- Totals already counted from many players, such as how many finished a level, no longer point to you and are kept.
- Advertising data is held by the ad networks (Unity Ads, Google AdMob) under their own policies, against your device's advertising ID. Resetting or deleting the advertising ID cuts the link (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking). For what they hold, use their own tools: Unity (ads and in-game purchases), Google.
- Purchases: Google Play and the App Store keep their own records of what you bought, under your Google or Apple account.
- Your request and our reply, as the record that it was done: up to 24 months.
Data on your phone
Your progress, coins, gems, settings and the record of what you bought are saved on your phone only. Uninstalling the game deletes them. Your device's own backup may keep a copy, depending on its settings.
Stop sending data
Turn off Settings > Share usage data in the game: no gameplay statistics or crash reports are sent while it is off. Ads follow your choices in Settings > Your data > Privacy options (where the game shows it) and your device's ad settings.
Everything the game collects, and why: Privacy Policy.
